  • The Someday Society at the Hoyt Library Fall Festival

At the Hoyt Library Fall Festival.

We attended the Fall Festival in support of our local library. It was a beautiful and sunny day.
Here is a look at our set up.

  • The Someday Society at Bookish

On September 14, 2025, The Someday Society had the pleasure of participating in Alley Crafts’ Craft-Themed Book Fair, marking our very first public outing. This unique event highlighted the importance of books and the meaningful connections between authors, readers, and the wider creative community.

The atmosphere throughout the day was vibrant, welcoming, and full of energy. Vendors and attendees alike created a warm environment that made us feel right at home. We were especially excited to introduce our booth, which featured two of our favorite interactive experiences: Blind Date with a Book and a fresh new twist, Blind Date with a Journal. Both offerings highlighted our passion for self-development and the role journaling can play in creativity, reflection, and growth.

In addition, our “Decorate Your Own Journal” bar seemed to be a hit with visitors of all ages. It was inspiring to watch so many participants embrace their creativity, personalize their journals, and share stories about their lives and journaling practices. We were fortunate to connect with many wonderful new friends who share our love of books, writing, and stationery.

The day was lively and busy from start to finish. A special mention goes to the Coffee Garden, located inside Alley Crafts, whose delicious iced coffee kept us refreshed and energized as we engaged with the community.

Overall, the event was a success and a learning experience for The Someday Society. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such a dynamic celebration of books, crafts, and community. We look forward to participating in future events and continuing to meet even more book and stationery enthusiasts along the way.
